How we're keeping our dojo clean and healthy so we can keep training
Given the rapid spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in Australia, Arrow Martial Arts has taken swift action to ensure the highest level of sanitisation of its training environment.
From the moment the virus was declared a public health emergency of international concern, we have implemented a rigorous soap handwashing and sanitiser use protocol.
This means that anyone entering our dojo (staff, students, parents, visitors) is required to have thoroughly washed their hands with soap in the bathrooms, then applying our hand sanitiser liberally before stepping inside.
We will continue to do so as long as COVID-19 is a public health risk.
We also wipe down all our focus mitts and strike shields (pads) that we use in class completely with sanitary wet wipes as well as Spray N Wipe and tissue.
We will regularly steam-clean and wipe our floor mats with sanitising products too.
Arrow is monitoring the situation very closely and the safety and wellbeing of our staff and student community is a top priority.
We continue to ask anyone feeling unwell and experiencing any symptoms such as a cough, cold, fever or any other illness to stay home and obtain treatment, and only return to training when they have been medically cleared to do so.
